Within the ACT there are many opportunities to contribute and participate in caring for the environment, such as getting involved with a community group, participating in volunteer activities to support the group or applying for a grant for an environmental project or a sustainability initiative.

Grants
ACT Environment Grants	The ACT Environment Grants is an annual funding program designed to assist community participation in worthwhile environmental projects. Applications for the 2012-2013 ACT Environment Grants are now open. Applications close 11 May 2012.
Climate Change grants	Information about ACT Government grants to assist community organisations and individuals build support for community action on climate change.
