ToiletSmart and ToiletSmart Plus

Upgrade your single or older dual flush toilet and other water fixtures with ToiletSmart and ToiletSmart Plus. 

What is it?

The ToiletSmart program assists ACT homeowners to replace their single of older dual flush toilet with a 4-star water-efficient toilet suite. Participants are also eligible to take advantage of additional ToiletSmart Plus options, including a FREE home water audit and some additional low-cost water saving fixtures and repairs, provided these are taken up at the time of the toilet installation.

Who can apply?

ToiletSmart is available to ACT homeowners for residential properties connected to ACTEW Corporation's water supply network who wish to replace a single or older dual flush toilet with a water-efficient dual flush toilet.

ToiletSmart Plus options are only available when the plumber replaces your toilet through the standard ToiletSmart program. You will need to book these options when you make your ToiletSmart appointment. The installation of all products included in the ToiletSmart Plus program is at the discretion of the ToiletSmart program plumber.

How much does it cost?

ToiletSmart

The following Caroma toilet suites are available through the program. Prices shown are after the $100 ACT Government rebate has been applied, and include the cost of the toilet suite, the standard installation service and GST. Where a non-standard installation is required, any additional charges will need to be met by the homeowner. 

The toilet suites available through ToiletSmart are on display at Prime Industries. Please call 02 6280 7099 to make an appointment.

A maximum of two toilets may be replaced per premises. Toilets must be supplied and installed by the ToiletSmart program plumber.

Pensioner Concession Card holder FREE ToiletSmart option

Pensioner Concession Card holders are eligible to apply for the installation of the Caroma Slimline Smartflush Connector Suite for free (normally $388 after the ACT Government rebate). There is a limit of one free toilet suite per eligible household.

ToiletSmart Plus options

The following ToiletSmart Plus options are only available when the plumber replaces your toilet through the standard ToiletSmart program. You will need to book these when you make your ToiletSmart appointment. The installation of all products included in the ToiletSmart Plus program is subject to the ToiletSmart and the ToiletSmart Plus terms and conditions  ( 170 KB), and is at the discretion of the ToiletSmart program plumber. 

Prices include the supply and installation of the item and GST.

Pensioner Concession Card holder FREE ToiletSmart Plus option

Pensioner Concession Card holders participating in ToiletSmart are eligible to have one Irwell Stayfast showerhead installed at no charge at the time of their toilet installation. All other ToiletSmart Plus products and services are available to Pensioner Concession Card holders at the prices shown above.
