About
The Hub is an initiative of the ACT Governments to help grow renewable energy networks in Canberra. The Hub is designed to be a collaborative working space (comprising of both offices and open plan areas) for both start-ups and established organisations within Canberra's renewable energy sector.
It is named after the universal target of limiting global warming to less than 2 degrees, adopted by 195 nations at the historic 21st Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC in Paris on 12 December 2015. The Hub's location is close to ANU, the CBD, shops and other amenities.
2degrees is ideally suited for entrepreneurs, service providers, consultants, investors, researchers and policy makers. It offers these individuals information and ideas generation across topics such as:
- wind and solar energy
- battery storage and integration
- the hydrogen economy
- energy control systems and energy policy
The Hub will also provide networking opportunities for organisations through a calendar of regular social events.
